SINGAPORE: Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums for July's 2nd bidding was released at the latest tender exercise on Wednesday (17 July).
Premiums for Cat A rose by $898 from $91,001 to $91,899 for smaller cars below 1600cc.
Cat B had fell by $901 from $100,901 to $100,000. Although it's close to dropping to a 5 figures, Cat B has remained in the 6-digit figure range since the 1st bidding in April 2024.
Prices for Cat D motorcycles had a slight increase by $189 from $8,900. to $9,089.
Prices for Cat C goods vehicle & bus rose as well by $600, from $70,001 to $70,601.
Aside from Cat B, COE prices for Cat E open category was the only other category that fell slightly by $548, from $100,889. to $100,341.
Thus far, Toyota has been leading in car sales for 2024 with a total of 566 units in May 2024 alone.
Mercedes Benz follows closely at 2nd position with 421 registered, outranking BYD at 360 units.
