SINGAPORE: Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums for July's 1st bidding was released at the latest tender exercise on Wednesday (3 July).
Premiums for Cat A rose by $112 from $90,889 to $91,001 for smaller cars below 1600cc.
Cat B had fell by $1,433 from $102,334 to $100,901. It still remains in the 6-digit figure range since the 1st bidding in April 2024.
Prices for Cat E open category experienced a slight increase by $889 from $100,000. to $100,889.
Prices for Cat C goods vehicle & bus rose as well by $101, from $69,900 to $70,001.
Aside from Cat B, COE prices for Cat D motorcycles was the only other category that fell slightly by $102, from $9,002 to $8.900.
Thus far, Toyota has been leading in car sales for 2024 with a total of 566 units in May 2024 alone.
Mercedes Benz follows closely at 2nd position with 421 registered, outranking BYD at 360 units.
