Toyota has unveiled a brand new Century.
This ultra-luxury SUV sedan, with an exterior very much like a Japanese "Rolls-Royce", is designed for the wealthiest of wealthy customers such as VIPs, politicians and the Japanese Imperial Family who prefer being driven - not drive.
This all-new SUV has a two-tone paint job and a total of 7 distinct colour schemes available for the exterior.
It has a conventional SUV silhouette, with an angular, rounded-edged, boxy front with its honeycomb grille flanked by split horizontal LED headlights, and a Phoenix emblem in the middle.
The new Century SUV has a plug-in powertrain. It houses a 3.5-litre V6 gasoline engine for a combined output of 406 bhp.
It has the ability to be driven purely on electric power for a pure-electric rage up to 69km, thanks to its onboard battery.
Charging the battery will take anywhere between 3.5 hours to 5.5 hours.
Although this new Century is essentially as big as many full-size SUVs at a total of 5,205mm in length, it only seats four.
The two rear seats are electronically adjustable can recline nearly fully flat at 77-degree with a powered leg rest folding out. Perfect for taking a nap or making business deals, the seats also feature ventilation, memory function and a massage function.
It's like a first-class airplane seat, with entertainment screens also built into the back of the front seats.
Housed between the rear seats is a wide console fitted with removable 5.5-inch touchscreens to control things like seats, audio and ambient lighting. It also comes with rotating retractable tables, optionally to be equipped with a mini fridge to keep your champagne chilled.
The car also features dimming rear windows and a panoramic sunroof.
From colour, material, seat configurations or even down to how you alight your vehicle, the Toyota Century gives you the freedom to customise your vehicle however you like it.
You can even choose your own door.
Yes, you heard that right! Whether you'd like to go for the ultra-wide swing door or something more dramatic like a sliding door on a MPV, we must say the Toyota Century does have some impressive customisation options.
