COE
SINGAPORE: Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums for May's 2nd bidding was released at the latest tender exercise on Thursday(23 May).
Premiums for Cat A fell slightly by $904 from $93,604 to $92,700 or smaller cars below 1600cc.
Cat B rose slightly by $687 remaining 3 times consistently in the 6-digit figure range since the 1st bidding in April 2024, from $105,002 to $105,689.
Amongst all categories, Cat C for goods vehicles & buses experienced the highest COE price increase of $2,000, from $70,001 to $72,001.
This is followed by the next highest price increase of $687 in Cat B, and $313 in Cat E (Open category), from $104,689 to $105,002.
Only Cat A and Cat D (Motorcycles) fell in prices by $904 and $192 respectively, with Cat D COE prices currently at $9,311.
So far, nothing eventful has happened across the past few months.
Ever since the eventful fall in COE prices in the 2nd bidding of December 2023 and 1st bidding of January 2024 where prices in Cat B had fell by a whopping $20k, there hasn't been a significant drop in prices since.
Hopefully, there's something to lookout for in the following months!
