COE May 2024: 1st Bidding Results

SINGAPORE: Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums for May's 1st bidding was released at the latest tender exercise on Wednesday (8 May).

Premiums for Cat A fell slightly by $406 from $94,010 to $93,604 for smaller cars below 1600cc.

Cat B rose significantly by $3,001, remaining 2 times consistently in the 6-digit figure range since the 1st bidding in April 2024, from $102,001 to $105,002.

First Tender of the 3-Month Quota Period

LTA announced last month on April 25 that there will be a total of 15,104 COEs available from the month of May to July.

This 3-Month Quota Period will be an increase of 2.7% from 14,707 from the previous quota.

Mixed Results in Other Sectors

COE Prices for Cat C and Cat E were unfavourable too, rising by $1.4k+ as compared to the previous month.

Currently, Cat C has rose to $70,001, while Cat E for open category vehicles is currently priced at $104,689.

Cat D for motorcyclist experienced a slight drop of $487 to $9,503.
