Let us drive away hunger in Singapore with this upcoming Food Donation Drive!

Meet time: 1.30pm or 3.30pm (see below)

Location: NTUC @ Joo Koon

Timings

1.30pm: Gather at NTUC @ Joo Koon to purchase your donations

3.15pm: Depart for Food Bank Singapore

3.30pm: Convoy fully formed up at and waiting outside Food Bank Singapore

3.45pm: Unload donations, photoshoot, certificate presentation

Notes:

The convoy will wait on the road right outside Food Bank Singapore, beside Xpace@218.

If you are meeting us at NTUC, being absolutely punctual is not critical.

If you are meeting us directly outside Food Bank Singapore at Xpace, please ensure that you are there no later than 3.30pm.

What can I donate?

The following donations are accepted by Food Bank Singapore:

• Cash
• Food

For food, Food Bank Singapore has a wishlist, which is presented below:

• Canned food (e.g. tuna, chicken, baked beans, mushrooms, etc.)
• Instant noodles, bee hoon
• Bread spreads (e.g. peanut butter, jam, nutella, kaya)
• Oil (prefer 2kg bottles)
• Packet drinks

Where can I buy my items to donate?

You can, of course, buy them on your own.

However, as a club, we'll be meeting at NTUC (see above), so that anybody who wants to buy on the day itself, or add on to the items you already have, can do so.

What will happen at Food Bank Singapore?

At 3.30pm, prior to making the actual donation, we will line up our cars in convoy, outside of Food Bank Singapore.

Once our timeslot is available, the marshals will direct us, and we will drive in, drop our donations, and proceed to a designated area for a group photoshoot.

What happens after the donation?

After the group photoshoot, the donation drive event will conclude.

Are there any requirements or things to note?

• Please do not donate perishables.
• Please do not donate expired items.
